In article number 2300031, Hua-Bing Li, Zhou-Hua Jiang, and co-workers depict a schematic diagram illustrating the continuous casting process of slabs, along with corresponding temperature distribution after steel strip feeding. This analysis examines progressive changes in morphology, focusing on successive stages rapid cross-sectional area expansion, subsequent sharp decline, oscillation, ultimate reduction to zero.
